WEEK 13

FINAL PROJECT

Cinemagraph: Surrealistic Parallax

FINAL DRAFT
After showing Mr. Fauzi the second draft, the advice he gave me to further improve the composition was to take out the tigers. Mr. Fauzi mentioned that the tigers were to over-powering and it clashes with the main subject. So, for the final draft, I've decided the replace it with something round to create some sort of balance with the red planet on top of the artwork. Shown below is the revised version.

After that I continued to animate the still. In the brief, it states that students are required to use After Effects to animate the project, but I've encountered problems with the software on my computer. So, I've decided to use Photoshop instead, as my animations are minimal.

 Animation Process

The animation process on Photoshop is pretty simple. I've listed the steps below.

1. Window > Timeline > Create Timeline Animation
2. Convert the elements that you want to animate into Smart Object
3. Select the intended elements on the timeline
4. Press on keyframes
5. Go to the end of timeline and press on keyframes again
6. Transform or move objects
7. The process repeats with other elements

Shown below is the animated still, without loop and audio. The final version will be available in Week 14.
